Current rate for refs is $35 per game.
Refs should have several years of playing experience, be capable of skating end-to-end of a 100ft ice sheet in about 5 seconds, and be familiar with common penalties and player infractions. Refs are required to be USA Hockey registered, and must wear skates, hockey player shin guards, a player cup, elbow pads, a player helmet (without a cage), and must have their own reffing whistle.
